Description

Sources Sought VETERANS AFFAIRS, DEPARTMENT OF is seeking a Firm-Fixed contract to replace the Boiler Plant Pressure Reducing Stations #1 and #2 at the West Haven VA Connecticut Healthcare System in Connecticut. The stations are aged, in failed condition, and pose a safety hazard. The contractor will be responsible for replacing pressure reducing valves, shut off valves, strainers, safeties, steam traps, and other associated steam and condensate components. The project also includes prefabrication of piping offsite, radiographic examination of welds, and pressure testing. The contractor will replace failing condensate return skid pumps, piping, and associated components, as well as add venting for the steam system. The work must comply with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations, codes, VA policies/regulations, specifications, and the Statement of Work.
