Sources Sought DEPT OF DEFENSE Repair Plumbing Domestic Chilled/Hot Water: The Department of the Air Force is seeking information for the repair of plumbing, domestic chilled/hot water for a secured facility on Kirtland AFB, NM. The project includes the demolition and replacement of chillers, boilers, lavatory faucets, flush valves, water closets, urinals, service sink faucet, electric water coolers, lift stations, sump pumps, grinder pumps, and drain trap guards. Electrical work is also required for new power connections. Interested companies must submit a cover letter and respond to market research questions. The purpose of this requirement is to replace two existing boilers in Bldg 1265 with the replacement make and model boiler, Lochinvar (FTX850N-M13 CSD-1). These boilers are used for heating purposes in the building. The replacement model will fit perfectly with the existing supply and return lines, electrical lines, thermostat wires, and vent stacks, eliminating the need for any re-plumbing or re-wiring. This will save the government time and money on changing the current system to work with a different brand of boilers.
