    Description

    Presolicitation Department of BRUSHES, PAINTS, SEALERS, ADHESIVES is seeking Structural Coatings for the MOX Fuel Fabrication Facility (MFFF) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC. The coatings will be applied to the floors, walls, and ceilings of the MOX Fuel Fabrication Building (BMF). The BMF is a multi-functional complex that handles plutonium, fuel processing, and fuel fabrication operations. The subcontract is estimated to be over $9M and will include surface preparation, coating applications, and environmental controls. The work is scheduled to start in the 3rd quarter of FY 2009 and be completed by the 2nd quarter of FY 2012. The subcontractors will need to have procedures in place to control the work and provide training for their personnel.
