The Department of Defense, through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Louisville District, is preparing to issue a pre-solicitation notice for the renovation of Building 20145 at Wright Patterson Airforce Base in Dayton, Ohio. The project involves the construction of three elevated floors totaling 17,941 square feet and the renovation of 9,666 square feet to create secure laboratory spaces, including modeling and simulation laboratories, control rooms, and a Network Operations Center (NOC). This initiative is critical for enhancing the facility's capabilities and will adhere to various established directives and codes related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The anticipated contract, valued between $10 million and $25 million, is expected to be awarded under a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) arrangement, with a duration of 820 calendar days.
