Special Notice GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION is conducting a virtual Industry Day Meeting for the Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contractors and potential offerors on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm Eastern Time via Google Meet. The target audience is vendors with or interested in the Automotive Special Item Numbers (SINs) within the Transportation and Logistics Services and Industrial Products and Services Categories on GSA MAS. The goal of the Industry Day Meeting is to provide an overview of the Schedule Input Program (SIP) requirements that apply to all MAS contractors.

The Office of Acquisition and Grants Management (OAGM) is hosting a virtual Reverse Industry Day on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, from 10:00am -12:00pm ET. This event aims to compare and contrast contract requirements and evaluation criteria from actual "best value" procurements, providing insights into how different language influences bidding, pricing, teaming, and solution development decisions for companies. The discussion will cover various aspects of procurement language, including Sections B, C, L, and M of a Request for Proposal (RFP), and will address challenges and unintended consequences related to cost and quality of solutions from contractors. Key topics include multi-step evaluations, conflicts of interest, price realism, Statement of Objectives (SOO) versus Statement of Work (SOW), labor categories, past performance requirements, key personnel, and small business policies. The General Services Administration (GSA), through its Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), is hosting a complimentary webinar titled "Introduction to the APEX Accelerators." This online event is scheduled for Thursday, August 8, 2024, at 1:00 PM Eastern Time. The webinar aims to provide an overview of the APEX Accelerator program, which focuses on strengthening U.S. supply chains and aiding businesses that work with various government entities, including the DoD and state and local governments. Dave Pease, the President of the National APEX Accelerator Alliance (NAPEX), will be the presenter.
