The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking potential sources to provide contracted emergency residential services as part of the Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) program for the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) in Little Rock, Arkansas. The objective is to support Veterans experiencing homelessness, particularly those transitioning from street homelessness or institutions, by offering low-barrier residential beds along with essential services such as room and board, meals, transportation, and mental health support for up to 180 days. This initiative is crucial for addressing the needs of vulnerable Veteran populations and aims to reduce homelessness through targeted rehabilitation efforts. Interested parties must respond by April 24, 2025, providing information on their capabilities, business size, and facility plans, with the contract period set from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, and the potential for five additional annual extensions. For inquiries, contact Albert Kelly at albert.kelly@va.gov or call 832-598-5196.
