    Special Notice DEPT OF DEFENSE DEPT OF THE NAVY: The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), Contracts Department, Code 02 is seeking potential solutions capable of characterizing an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in a hard-to-reach area. The ideal end state for this system is to be integrated into a remotely operated platform. This tool will be used within the Department of Defense (DoD) end-user community. The technology must be capable of performing neutralization in hard-to-reach areas such as on top of a building, in a tree, on a steep embankment, around corners, under bridges, and behind barriers. The government is requesting information on Commercial off the Shelf (COTS), Government off the Shelf (GOTS), and Modified Commercial off the Shelf (MCOTS) systems that could be directly applied or readily integrated to meet current and future requested capabilities. The deadline for responses is 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on 9 August 2024.
