The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), through its Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), is seeking qualified vendors to supply frozen beef products for domestic food assistance programs. The procurement aims to ensure a reliable supply of quality beef, with a significant emphasis on supporting small businesses, including a 50% set-aside for small businesses and a 100% set-aside for specific items, along with provisions for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. All beef products must originate from livestock raised in the United States, and the solicitation process will utilize the Web-Based Supply Chain Management system for electronic submissions. Interested parties should note that offers are due by November 8, 2024, with deliveries scheduled between January 15 and January 31, 2025.
