The Department of Defense, through the Department of the Army, is preparing to solicit bids for the construction of the North Ramp Rotary Wing Expansion at Erbil Air Base in Iraq. This Design-Build project aims to enhance the staging capacity for rotary aircraft by expanding the existing ramp, which includes significant groundwork, paving, and the installation of aircraft grounding points and two Aircraft Large Maintenance Shelters (ALAMS). The contract, valued between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000, will be awarded under limited competition to vendors on the Asayish Approved Vendors List, with proposals evaluated based on best value criteria. Interested contractors should note that the solicitation is expected to be issued around April 20, 2025, and must ensure registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) and the Joint Contingency Contracting System (JCCS) prior to award eligibility.
