The Department of Defense is seeking sources capable of providing a rapid deployment shelter solution for the Los Angeles Air Force Base (LAAFB). The goal is to ensure the continuity of the Space Systems Command (SSC) mission in the event of a major disaster.
The scope of work involves supplying rapid deployment shelters to accommodate displaced DoD personnel during contingency operations. Each shelter must be able to house 8 personnel and include all necessary components, such as lighting, wiring, and erection materials. The shelters must be delivered in hard cases for easy transport and storage.
The ideal vendor will have experience working with the military and demonstrated capabilities in providing temporary shelter solutions. Eligibility requirements include a NAICS code of 624221 and the ability to deliver the shelters to El Segundo, California.
This is a Sources Sought notice, and the government is looking for vendors to submit capabilities statements and pricing information. The deadline for submission is TBD.
