The Department of Defense, through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Savannah District, is seeking information from potential contractors for maintenance dredging services on the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (AIWW) in South Carolina. The project involves dredging operations at selected sites, specifically in Daufuskie Reach and Isle of Hope Reach, with the removal of up to 130,000 cubic yards of sediment to maintain navigable waterways and support environmental practices. The anticipated contract, valued between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000, is expected to be awarded in the second quarter of FY26, with interested parties required to submit their responses to the Request for Information by April 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern.
