NASA's National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is initiating the Science Transport & Robotic Innovation for Deployment and Exploration (STRIDE) Program as part of the Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2025 solicitation. This program aims to solicit proposals from U.S. for-profit organizations to conduct design studies and early-stage prototyping of advanced robotic surface and aerial mobility systems intended for Mars surface operations, focusing on the transportation and deployment of scientific payloads in Martian environments. The STRIDE Program is crucial for advancing robotic exploration on Mars and identifying commercial systems that can operate effectively in its challenging conditions. For further inquiries, interested parties can contact Erica Montbach at HQ-STRIDE@mail.nasa.gov or Shana Faris at shana.n.faris@nasa.gov; please note that this advance notice is for planning purposes only, and no proposals are currently being accepted.
