The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Glenn Research Center is seeking non-Government partners for the Payloads and Research Investigations on the Surface of the Moon (PRISM) initiative, which focuses on developing an americium equivalent electrically heated Stirling generator for lunar surface instruments. The objective is to support the development and flight of this technology to power a suite of scientific instruments and demonstration payloads for investigations at a lunar landing site, particularly in the South Pole region. Selected partners will assist in proposal development for NASA's Announcement of Opportunity NNH25ZDA001N and may be awarded contracts without further competition if the proposal is successful. Interested parties must submit their responses, limited to two pages, detailing their capabilities and relevant experience by January 9, 2026, with questions due by January 7, 2026, directed to Hunter Butkovic at hunter.c.butkovic@nasa.gov.
