Notice of Intent to Sole Source to Malachite Technologies for a microwave cavity capable of fluidizing solid particles in the Sairem Microwave reactor. The Department of Energy (DOE), National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Malachite Technologies for this specialized microwave cavity. The microwave cavity is used to keep the integrity of the reactor system intact in the B14 ReACT Facility. Malachite Technologies is the only known source that can provide this type of part.
