    Sources Sought DEPT OF DEFENSE is seeking potential sources to conduct the preparation and repaint of the Heritage Park Flagpole and concrete base at Little Rock AFB, Arkansas. The contractor will perform full prep of the metal flag pole and the concrete base, including sanding or sand blasting to eliminate rough or chipped areas. The concrete base area is 43 feet 6 inches in diameter and requires sealing or repairing any cracks. The flagpole will be painted gloss white with a golden truck at the top. The concrete base will have a red center, a white star, and a blue field on the outside, following the existing layout pattern. The contractor is responsible for providing equipment rental, painting equipment, and all materials. Clean up and disposal of waste are also the contractor's responsibility. The contractor must furnish and replace protective halyard stoppers to prevent chipping during high winds.
