    Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source Contract Modification – Sacramento River Erosion Contract 4 (SRE C4)
    The Department of Defense, specifically the Department of the Army, through the office of W075 ENDIST SACRAMENTO, has issued a Special Notice for the procurement of erosion protection materials. The materials being procured are biodegradable blocks and fabric, specifically the RoLanka BioD Block 16-400, from RoLanka International Inc. These materials will be used for erosion protection along the Sacramento River in Sacramento, California.
    The biodegradable blocks have a unit weight of 4.8lb/ft and a block size of 16 inches in height, 9 inches in thickness, and 10 feet in length. The fabric has a length of 48 inches at the top and 75 inches at the bottom, with a tensile strength of MD 1740lbs/ft and CD 1176lbs/ft.
