The Department of Defense, through the Defense Health Agency (DHA), is soliciting proposals for the development of the Advanced Medical Monitor (AMM) Family of Systems, specifically the Next Generation Medical Monitor (NGMM) and the Expeditionary Medical Monitor (EMM). These devices are intended to continuously track vital signs and provide actionable data to enhance military patient triage, treatment, and evacuation, particularly in expeditionary settings where reliable medical monitoring is critical. The U.S. Government has allocated up to $13.07 million for this initiative, with multiple awards anticipated for each focus area, and proposals will be evaluated through a two-stage process beginning with white papers. Interested parties must be members of the Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC) to submit proposals and can direct inquiries to Dr. Lauren Palestrini at lauren.palestrini@mtec-sc.org.
