    Special Notice: VETERANS AFFAIRS, DEPARTMENT OF - Q301 - FIT Testing CPT

    The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 17, intends to award a firm-fixed priced, Single Award IDIQ contract/order to Polymedco, LLC for the procurement of reagents and consumable supplies for Automated Fecal Immunochemical Testing (FIT).

    FIT is an automated assay used for the detection of Hemoglobin in the feces from the colon and rectum. It eliminates the need for patient dietary restrictions. The contractor will provide two analyzers and all necessary reagents, supplies, and service/maintenance as part of a cost per test agreement.

    The proposed order will be considered a standing order, with supplies being ordered on an as-needed basis throughout the period of performance. This notice is not a request for quotations or proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation for consideration by the agency.

    If no affirmative written response is received within 5 days, a contract/order will be issued to Polymedco, LLC without further notice. The proposed sole source procurement is based on the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition, as no other source can satisfy the agency's requirements.
