Description

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is seeking to procure a subscription service for economic research access. The contract will provide a centralized platform for business, financial, and marketing data, enabling efficient company screening and academic research.

The subscription service must include a self-managed portal with access to a high volume of cross-disciplinary data and cloud computing. Additionally, the vendor must demonstrate company search tools and database coverage, including private North American and international companies. The search functionality should include historical financial information and export capabilities. Customer support, including 24/5 phone availability, is a crucial requirement.

The USPTO is gathering market research to determine eligible vendors who can meet these requirements. Vendors must submit capability statements in PDF format, clearly highlighting which capabilities they have and any that are missing. The statement should include company information, small business status, GSA Schedule Contract Number, and confirmation of 508 compliance.

For this procurement, the USPTO is exempt from the Competition in Contracting Act. The capability statements will be evaluated, and a solicitation may be sent directly to the qualified vendors. Vendors are requested to indicate their availability for a 30-minute virtual market research demonstration on specific dates.

Questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted in writing to the named contacts by the specified deadline. Jennifer Springer, Emalee Gawrelski, and Joy Pitts are the designated points of contact for this opportunity.

This is a Sources Sought notice, and responders should be aware that there is no commitment or agreement implied by the USPTO. All responses and associated expenses are the responsibility of the vendors.
