Sources Sought HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES, DEPARTMENT OF NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF HEALTH: Mouse cardiac array coil for 7 Tesla MRI scanner
This notice is a Small Business Sources Sought notice issued by the National Institutes of Health NIDA. The purpose of this notice is to gather information about qualified small business sources capable of providing a mouse cardiac array coil for a 7 Tesla MRI scanner. The coil is intended to support cardiovascular studies of transgenic and wild type mice as a function of aging using the Biospec 70/30 MRI scanner.
The mouse cardiac array coil must have several salient characteristics, including being anatomically-shaped to fit mice up to 50 g in body weight, having four channels in a 2 X 2 coil element topology, and being fixed-tuned to 300.1 MHz. It should also have a coil active length of at least +/- 16 mm and width at least +/- 16 mm, a coil signal-to-noise ratio of at least 4600/ mm-3, and be compatible with the existing Bruker 86 mm quadrature volume coil.
The procurement is for a quantity of 1 each, with a delivery date of 60 days after receipt of award. The place of performance is Baltimore, Maryland, United States.
Interested contractors should submit documentation of their ability to meet the project requirements, including their company information, DUNS number, physical address, point of contact, and size and type of business. The response should be in Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format and limited to ten pages.
