The Department of Defense, specifically the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), is seeking information from contractors capable of providing Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for the U-2 AN/ALQ-221 Electronic Warfare System (EWS). The primary objective is to identify sources that can deliver depot-level repair, sustainment, and material management for EWS-specific hardware and software components, ensuring full asset visibility and the provision of serviceable spares. This initiative is crucial for maintaining the operational readiness of the U-2 aircraft, as the government does not own the data for these items, making reverse engineering impractical. Interested contractors are encouraged to submit their capabilities, including facility details and past experience, by January 22, 2026.
