The Department of Defense, through the U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA), is conducting a Sources Sought Notice to identify potential suppliers for non-human primates, specifically for the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense and the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Disease. The procurement aims to secure the purchase, testing, quarantine, housing, and shipping of various primate species, including Specific Pathogen-Free Macaca Mulata (Rhesus), Macaca Fascicularis (Cynomolgus), Cercopithecus Aethiops (African Green), and Callithrix Jacchus marmosets, which are critical for research and testing purposes.
