The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Training and Development seeks information from vendors for a potential contract to support its Detecting Deception and Eliciting Responses (DDER) training courses.
The CBP aims to gather intelligence on potential terrorists and weapons of mass effect, focusing on improving interviewing techniques. The role players/cultural experts needed for these training programs must have a thorough knowledge of cultures, customs, religions, and languages from various regions including North Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and Somalia.
The successful vendor will provide services as outlined in the draft Statement of Work, demonstrating their ability to meet or exceed the following requirements:
CBP desires information on vendors' capabilities and experiences in meeting similar scope requirements, with responses due by August 9, 2024. The CBP will not award a contract based on this information gathering exercise, but rather uses this process for planning purposes.
