    Description

Presolicitation DEPT OF DEFENSE (DEFENSE HEALTH AGENCY) is planning to procure Protein Production and Purification services for USAMRICD. This service is required to be self-sufficient in protein production and sustain research operations at USAMRICD. The service involves generating highly purified recombinant human acetylcholinesterase enzyme for use in research to measure the protein's function in critical in vitro biochemical activity assays. The enzyme must meet specific requirements, including maintaining enzymatic activity, being expressed in a system that preserves post-translational modification pattern, and being available at >90% purity. The enzyme will be used in research efforts that require the measurement of hydrolytic activity using standard biochemical assaying techniques. The procurement of this service is critical for the evaluation of novel drugs and is expected to continue for at least three years. Interested parties can submit their capability by email to Mr. Kenneth Grenier, Contract Specialist, by 18 February 2024 at 12:00 PM (Noon) Eastern Time.
