The Department of Agriculture, specifically the Forest Service, intends to award a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) Call Order for Reforestation and Non-Native Invasive Species (NNIS) treatment services in South Carolina. The procurement encompasses a range of support services, including chemical site preparation, tree planting, mechanical site preparation, precommercial thinning, timber stand improvement, and treatments for non-native invasive plants, to be performed at various locations within the Francis Marion and Sumter National Forests and the Savannah River Site. This initiative is crucial for maintaining forest health and biodiversity, addressing the challenges posed by invasive species, and promoting sustainable forestry practices. Interested small businesses eligible under the Reforestation/NNIS BPA should note that this is not a solicitation, and the BPA Call Order will be issued via email to the approved companies, with inquiries directed to Ioulia Boxley at ioulia.boxley@usda.gov.
