The Department of Homeland Security, specifically the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), intends to award a sole-source contract for a fiber optic cable lease at The Orlando International Airport (MCO) to the City of Orlando. This procurement aims to secure 21 strands of single-mode fiber optic connectivity to ensure uninterrupted network access for TSA personnel in their occupied spaces at the airport. The contract will be executed under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) for a base year with four additional one-year options. Interested parties may express their interest and demonstrate their capabilities by submitting information to Contract Specialist Toshia Rollins via email by May 23, 2025, although the TSA retains discretion over whether to pursue competitive procurement. For further inquiries, contact Toshia Rollins at Toshia.N.Rollins@tsa.dhs.gov.
