Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source DEPT OF DEFENSE DEPT OF THE ARMY

The Department of Defense, specifically the Department of the Army, intends to issue a sole source purchase order for urgent repair parts for mixers at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. The purpose of this procurement is to prevent work stoppage and ensure the repair parts are compatible and perform uniformly. The original exclusive design mixer manufacturer, B&P Littleford LLC, is the only authorized supplier with the necessary material and technical expertise. This procurement will be awarded under 'other than full and open competition' as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This notice is not a request for offers and the Government has the discretion to determine whether to compete this procurement based on responses received. It is important to note that the 20th Contracting Squadron will not reimburse any costs associated with providing capability information.

The DRMKTs are used for disaster relief operations and provide mobile kitchens for feeding personnel in emergency situations. Notice of Intent to Sole Source DEPT OF DEFENSE DEPT OF THE ARMY The Department of Defense, specifically the Department of the Army, has issued a Notice of Intent to Sole Source for the procurement of Communications Security Equipment and Components. This service/item is typically used for ensuring secure communication within military operations. INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR CONTRACT FOR SPECTRO SCIENTIFIC INSTRUMENTATION

The Spectro Scientific instrumentation is used by the Chemical Sampling and Analysis Branch (CSAB) within the Warfighter Directorate of Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) since 2001. It is utilized for oil wear metal analysis and identification in support of vehicle testing programs at ATC and can be used for other fluid analysis as necessary. The maintenance support includes preventive maintenance visits, phone/email support, and automatic software updates for the spectrometer, particle count/shape classifier, and autosampler equipment. The contract covers repairs, parts, and travel expenses. The service is for a 12-month base period and three option periods.
