Cognitive Terrain Flight Assistance

The Department of Defense, specifically the Army, is seeking proposals for the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program focused on developing a Cognitive Terrain Flight Assistance system. The objective is to create cognitive decision-aiding logic using machine learning and artificial intelligence to enhance aviators' ability to safely navigate close to terrain and obstacles, which is critical for mission success in high-threat environments.
