The Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) is offering the Native American Library Services Basic Grant for the year 2025, aimed at enhancing library services for Federally recognized Native American Tribal Governments. This grant program seeks to support up to 170 projects, providing funding between $6,000 and $10,000 each, with a total estimated funding pool of $1,700,000. The initiative is designed to empower Tribal libraries to address community needs in areas such as education, workforce development, health, and cultural preservation, thereby improving access to information and fostering community engagement.
