The Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS Office) of the U.S. Department of Justice is inviting applications for the FY25 Community Policing Development (CPD) Accreditation program, aimed at enhancing law enforcement accreditation entities. This program seeks to develop the capacity of law enforcement agencies to implement community policing strategies by providing guidance on innovative practices and supporting new approaches to crime prevention and community safety. With an estimated total program funding of $2 million and an award ceiling of $300,000, the COPS Office anticipates making approximately seven awards. Interested applicants, including for-profit and nonprofit organizations, public agencies, and community groups, must submit their applications by June 24, 2025, through both Grants.gov and the JustGrants system.
