The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) is seeking applications for funding for grants related to law enforcement activities associated with the 2024 presidential nominating conventions (PNCs). The eligible applicants for this grant are the City of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and the City of Chicago, Illinois. The purpose of this funding is to support work that promotes civil rights and equity, increases access to justice, supports crime victims and individuals impacted by the justice system, strengthens community safety, protects the public from crime and evolving threats, and builds trust between law enforcement and the community. The grant opportunity does not require cost sharing or matching. The total program funding available is $150,000,000, with an award ceiling of $75,000,000.
