The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is forecasting a cooperative agreement opportunity aimed at enhancing the capacity and sustainability of public health systems in India to effectively prevent, detect, and respond to infectious disease outbreaks and other public health emergencies. This initiative seeks to support the Government of India in strengthening its public health infrastructure, particularly through the Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA) priorities, focusing on five key areas: public health workforce, disease surveillance, laboratory systems, emergency preparedness and response, and antimicrobial resistance.
