The U.S. Mission to Sri Lanka is inviting applications for the Design and Implementation of the English Access Program, aimed at empowering economically disadvantaged students through enhanced English language proficiency and cross-cultural understanding. This program, which will run from 2025 to 2027, focuses on developing critical 21st-century skills such as leadership, civic engagement, and media literacy, thereby fostering public service and global citizenship among participants. With an estimated total program funding of $156,000, the U.S. Embassy plans to award two cooperative agreements, with individual awards ranging from $52,000 to $104,000.
