The U.S. Mission to the United Arab Emirates is offering a grant opportunity titled "Academy of Women Entrepreneurs" aimed at supporting UAE-based, women-owned small and medium enterprises (SMEs). This program will provide a 4–6-month training and mentorship initiative designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and networks of at least 20 participating SMEs, enabling them to leverage the UAE's entrepreneurship ecosystem and bilateral trade opportunities. Since its inception, the Academy has empowered over 25,000 women entrepreneurs globally, and in the UAE, it has already facilitated significant funding and job creation for women-led businesses. Interested organizations, including not-for-profit entities, educational institutions, and public international organizations, can apply for funding ranging from $100,000 to $150,000, with proposals due by September 20, 2024.
