The Department of the Army, through the US Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRAA), is offering the FY24 Traumatic Brain Injury and Psychological Health Translational Research Award (TRA) to support research aimed at enhancing the understanding, prevention, and treatment of traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and psychological health conditions. This grant opportunity encourages applications that focus on three key areas: understanding conditions, prevention and assessment, and novel interventions for treatment, with a strong emphasis on relevance to military health needs. A total of approximately $17.05 million is available for funding, with the expectation of awarding around 14 grants, including both smaller and larger-scale studies, with budget limits of $500,000 and $1 million, respectively.
