The U.S. Mission to Austria, under the U.S. Department of State, has posted a grant opportunity titled "Youth and Education Exchange". This cooperative agreement aims to increase understanding of the United States and strengthen support for the transatlantic relationship among young, emerging voices in Austria. The program will focus on U.S. culture, shared values, disinformation, diversity, equity, inclusion, and the contemporary American political and media landscape. It seeks to reduce stereotypes and produce informed young Austrians who can act as citizen ambassadors, benefiting the Austrian-American relationship. The program will run from September 2024 to December 2025 and is open to private institutions of higher education, not-for-profit organizations, public and private educational institutions, and for-profit organizations are not eligible to apply. The grant award will range from $100,000 to $150,000, with an estimated total program funding of $150,000. The deadline for applications is June 15, 2024.
