Description

The National Park Service is seeking a cooperative agreement for the Historic Preservation Training Center Facility Management and Historic Preservation Emerging Professional Engagement. This program aims to support and stimulate preservation trades and project work on NPS cultural resources by hosting pre-apprentice-style and pre-professional experiences for emerging professionals in the fields of facility management and cultural resource restoration and rehabilitation. The program will engage students and graduates of trade schools focused on historic preservation skills and knowledge, as well as other facility relevant trades and fields. The goal is to provide participants with real-life project opportunities to apply their education and promote greater public and private participation in historic preservation and facility programs. The program will also provide trained individuals to help complete critical historic preservation and facility projects for the National Park Service.
