The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has announced a funding opportunity under the Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP) – Pathways initiative, aimed at enhancing behavioral health support for youth in rural areas. This program seeks to establish innovative pathway programs that introduce youth to behavioral health careers, engage them in peer-driven initiatives, and ensure the sustainability of these efforts through collaboration among various organizations. With a total funding pool of $4.8 million, grants of up to $400,000 will be awarded to approximately 12 recipients, with applications due by April 14, 2025, and project implementation expected to commence by September 2026.
