The Fort Worth District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is soliciting Statements of Interest (SOI) for a cooperative agreement focused on "Dry Season Prey Concentrations" within specific cooperative ecosystem study regions, including the Gulf Coast, Piedmont–South Atlantic Coast, and South Florida-Caribbean. The primary objective of this project is to assess and monitor aquatic fauna populations in the Everglades, particularly their impact on wading bird breeding success, aligning with the goals of the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP). Interested organizations must demonstrate relevant qualifications, including a Ph.D. in a pertinent field and experience in Everglades ecology, with a funding amount of approximately $234,142.70 available for the initial 12-month base period and potential follow-on tasks.
