The U.S. Mission to ASEAN is forecasting a federal grant opportunity titled "2025 U.S.-ASEAN Women's Leadership Academy for YSEALI". This cooperative agreement aims to empower women and advance the leadership capabilities of young Southeast Asian leaders. The grant will support the creation of a network of young Southeast Asian leaders who work across borders to solve common problems. The academy will focus on four themes: Civic Engagement, Economic Empowerment and Social Entrepreneurship, Education, and Environmental Issues. The grant is open to U.S. and foreign educational institutions, as well as not-for-profit organizations. The grant ceiling is $250,000, with a minimum award of $100,000. The academy will be designed for 50 to 60 female participants from the tech industry, aged 20 to 35, representing all 10 ASEAN member states and Timor-Leste. The academy will include pre-workshop virtual activities and a four-day or five-day in-person workshop in Southeast Asia. The purpose of the activities and workshop is to create a network of Southeast Asian women in technology, explore the impact of technological advancements on women's lives, discuss policies affecting women's access to the digital economy, and develop leadership skills. 2025 Academy for Women Entrepreneurs
U.S. Mission to South Korea
The U.S. Mission to South Korea has posted a federal grant notice titled "2025 Academy for Women Entrepreneurs." This funding opportunity aims to support and empower women entrepreneurs globally by providing them with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to build, manage, and scale successful businesses. The training will be delivered online through Thunderbird University's "100 Million Learners Program," with regular check-ins and monthly in-person meetings. The program will culminate in a graduation ceremony in Fall 2025, and select participants may have the opportunity to attend Select USA in 2025 and/or become mentees in the Select USA Global Women in Tech program. The grantee organization will conduct ongoing surveys to assess participants' experiences and the relevance of the materials to their businesses.
