The National Science Foundation (NSF) is offering the Launching Early-Career Academic Pathways in the Mathematical and Physical Sciences (LEAPS-MPS) grant to support pre-tenure faculty in Mathematical and Physical Sciences (MPS) fields at institutions that typically receive limited NSF-MPS funding. This initiative aims to foster the careers of new investigators, particularly at minority-serving institutions, predominantly undergraduate institutions, and Carnegie Research 2 universities, while promoting diversity in the MPS fields. Grants will provide funding between $100,000 and $250,000 for a duration of 24 months, with an estimated total program funding of $12 million and approximately 48 awards expected. Proposals must be submitted by January 23, 2025, and interested applicants can reach out to NSF grants.gov support at grantsgovsupport@nsf.gov for assistance.
