The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is inviting proposals for a cooperative agreement aimed at rigorously evaluating programs and policies designed to prevent child sexual abuse (CSA) and problematic sexual behavior (PSB) among youth. The initiative seeks research that addresses one of three priorities: prevention strategies focusing on community or structural conditions, digital space interventions, or organizational policy approaches within youth-serving organizations. This funding opportunity, with an estimated total program funding of $4.8 million and an award ceiling of $400,000, is open to unrestricted applicants, and proposals must be submitted electronically by December 2, 2024, at 11:59 PM ET. For further inquiries, interested parties can contact Joyce Dieterly at ncipc_erpo@cdc.gov.
