The Department of the Army, through the US Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRAA), is offering the FY24 Peer Reviewed Cancer Career Development Award (CDA) to support early-career investigators in conducting impactful cancer research relevant to military health. This grant, with an estimated total program funding of $15.36 million, aims to foster the development of Scholars—early-career researchers—who will work under the mentorship of experienced cancer researchers, referred to as Career Guides, within the framework of the Virtual Cancer Center (VCC). The initiative emphasizes the importance of advancing cancer research that addresses the health concerns of Service Members and their families, with a maximum budget of $800,000 available for each project over a period of up to four years.
