The Department of the Army, through the US Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRAA), has announced the DoD Melanoma Team Science Award, a federal grant opportunity aimed at advancing melanoma research and patient care through multidisciplinary studies. This program requires collaboration among at least two to three Principal Investigators (PIs) from various institutions to address complex issues impacting patient outcomes, with a focus on innovative research areas such as prevention, interception, and survivorship related to melanoma. Approximately $16.8 million is available to fund around seven applications, with a direct cost cap of $1.5 million and a maximum project duration of three years.
