FY2026 Support for 988 Tribal Response Cooperative Agreements

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration is accepting applications for the FY2026 Support for 988 Tribal Response Cooperative Agreements. Funded recipients will work to improve connections and responses to 988 lifeline contacts, including calls, chats, and texts, that originate in Tribal communities or are initiated by American Indians and Alaska Natives. Eligibility is limited to federally recognized Indian Tribes, tribal organizations, and Urban Indian Organizations applying individually or as a consortium. The program has an estimated total funding pool of $20,000,000 to support approximately 63 awards with an individual ceiling of $1,500,000, and applications must be submitted by July 17, 2026.
