The Department of Defense, through the Naval Sea Systems Command, is seeking qualified contractors to operate the U.S. Navy Submarine Transducer Repair Facility (TRF), which is critical for the repair and restoration of transducers supporting naval operations. The selected contractor will be responsible for managing the facility, which requires specialized expertise in acoustic sensor design, construction, and recertification, with an annual output of approximately twenty-two shipsets of DT-100 hydrophones and various SONAR sensors. This initiative is vital for maintaining the operational readiness of submarine acoustic systems, with work anticipated to commence in fiscal year 2027. Interested parties should submit their capability statements and a Rough Order of Magnitude cost estimate to Linda Peck at linda.m.peck3.civ@us.navy.mil or Roy Yim at roy.h.yim2.civ@us.navy.mil, with a submission limit of ten pages.
