Buyer not available
The Department of Defense, through the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, is soliciting quotes for a Single Photon Avalanche Diode (SPAD) camera with accessories, aimed at enhancing educational capabilities at the Air Force Institute of Technology. This procurement seeks to acquire one unit of the SPAD camera, which is essential for advanced remote sensing applications, allowing students to engage with cutting-edge imaging technology capable of capturing single-photon images for 3-D reconstructions. The successful contractor must deliver and install the system within six weeks of contract award, adhering to stringent technical specifications and compliance requirements. Quotes are due by 29 April 2025, at 1:00 PM EST, and interested vendors should direct inquiries to Jennifer Blackford or Raschelle Swindle via email.
459051 - Pilatus4 CdTe Detector
Buyer not available
The Department of Energy, through Brookhaven National Laboratory, is seeking sources for the procurement of a Dectris PILATUS4 CdTe Detector, as outlined in a Sources Sought Notice. The detector must meet specific capabilities, including a substantial active area and an upgradeable maximum framerate, and the contractor will be responsible for assembling, testing, and delivering the equipment to BNL, along with comprehensive documentation and a one-year warranty post-acceptance testing. This procurement is crucial for enhancing research capabilities at the National Synchrotron Light Source II (NSLS-II) and reflects the government's commitment to advancing scientific instrumentation. Interested parties should submit a Statement of Capabilities to Lisa Gonzales at lgonzales@bnl.gov by the specified deadline, ensuring to include their business size and other required information.
NbTES bolometer installation
Buyer not available
NASA's National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA/NSSC) is seeking a contractor for the installation of a NbTES bolometer, aimed at upgrading an existing bolometric detector system to enhance its capabilities. The project involves adding a second detector that operates at frequencies up to 10 THz, which is critical for advancing NASA's research and operational capabilities in high-frequency detection. The work will be performed at the vendor's facility, with a warranty period of two years from the date of receipt, and the procurement is set aside for small businesses under FAR 19.5. Interested organizations must submit their qualifications to Dorothy Baskin at dorothy.s.baskin@nasa.gov by 11:59 a.m. Central Standard Time on April 29, 2025, to be considered for this sole source contract.
