The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is seeking industry input through a Request for Information (RFI) regarding the procurement of a Trace Atmospheric Gas Analyzer (TAGA) mobile air monitoring laboratory. This mobile laboratory will be equipped with advanced analytical instrumentation, including a high-resolution chemical ionization – time of flight mass spectrometer, a triple quadrupole mass spectrometer, a gas chromatograph/mass spectrometer, and a cavity ringdown spectrometer, to facilitate real-time monitoring of air pollutants and hazardous compounds, particularly for Superfund and emergency response activities. The TAGA mobile laboratory will be constructed at the vendor's facility and later transported to the EPA's Research Triangle Park facility in North Carolina for installation and commissioning.
