The Department of Defense, through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Seattle District, is preparing to issue a solicitation for the construction of a multi-building Special Tactics Complex at the Portland Air National Guard Base in Oregon. This project aims to consolidate various functions of the 125 Special Tactics Squadron into a modern facility, including spaces for operations, training, maintenance, and storage, with a total area not exceeding 73,475 square feet. The estimated construction cost ranges from $25 million to $100 million, and interested contractors must have active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) to access the solicitation documents, which are expected to be available between late October and mid-November 2025.
