The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is seeking qualified small businesses to participate in the Reverse Engineering Technical Data Initiative (RETDI) Generation III program through a Request for Information (RFI) and subsequent Request for Quote (RFQ). The primary objective of this procurement is to acquire non-recurring engineering services that will lead to the development of Technical Data Packages (TDPs), which are essential for resolving technical and engineering issues related to military supply parts. This initiative aims to enhance competition, reduce costs, and streamline production processes, ultimately delivering drawings and data to the government with unlimited data rights for items with limited sources. Interested vendors should note that the solicitation is expected to be issued on or about October 31, 2024, with a closing date around November 30, 2024.
